Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000: Review

I got my hands on the Logitech USB webcam. The Logitech QucikCam Pro 9000 is one of the best webcams available for Laptop/Desktop. The best features are the 2MP resolution and Carl-Zeiss lens with auto-focus. Although at first the camera clip may appear 'obnoxious', but you would realize that it is not a slide and doesn't scratch your laptop panels.


Just follow the instructions in the drivers CD, you'll have the webcam running (Windows).


The webcam works instantly when you plug in to Ubuntu (9.10). However features like auto-focus and RightLight are not available. This has to be achieved by other means. I will put up a post for installation of drivers in Linux as early as possible.
