All eyes on Google to pull the big rabbit from the hat in '10. The Nexus one aka "G phone" is believed to be launched on January 5th 2010, suspected of carrying Android 2.1 [Flan] with Qualcomm 1 GHz processor and 5 MP camera! Adding to the confusion is the similarities with HTC Passion/ Bravo?. Altough HTC will be manufacturing the nexus one for Google. Rumors of nexus one are all around the internet stating price tag of $530 for unlocked versions. Arguably January 5th may be launch of Android 2.1 rather than Nexus one. Further Google is also busy with "Goggles" which may be included in Flan. Applications like Goggles are more appealing rather than text based search.
Already seen?... This font is really smooth on the eyes. I always keep my documents in this font. I find it pleasing to read them under this font :). In fact this topic is posted with DejaVu Sans Condensed.
The all new Flash is set to release as CS5 version. The key feature being able to port Actionscript 3 projects as Flash apps to iPhone directly! The video below is Keynote from Adobe MAX 2009 event [à la Myth Busters :)]. It shows applications and games for iPhone that have been built using a prerelease version of Adobe Flash Professional CS5. The other video shows the Physics engine embedded to Flash. Similar to utilizing PhysX [Ageia/ Nvidia] or Bullet or Havok [ still supported in Adobe director ~more on this later]. I still feel this should have happened long ago.
I seem to be attracted to Adobe products. The effort is sure visible in their works. The package below is the CS4 icons template. The official Icons use the Adobe Clean font (formerly Gauge) designed by Robert Slimbach. This font is internally used by Adobe and is not yet released. More about this here and here.
The font that is used here is Myriad Pro- shipped with Adobe products. There are 30 different icons right now. More icons will be put up in updates to follow.
